Stress and Adaptogenic Herbs
Saturday January 9th 10 am-12:00 pm
Covid and the previous 10 months have created a whole new meaning of stress. Throughout this last year, I have had people coming into the Shop and it seems the feeling of Stress is a prominent issue for many. We know that stress is an initiator and cofactor for much of our chronic degenerative diseases so getting our stress levels in balance is important-especially now that the Holidays are over, and we can take a moment to ourselves. Many know that Stress reduction techniques can be of great help, as can healthy relationships, good diet, and adequate sleep. One other key for reducing stress and enhancing well-being is the use of adaptogenic herbs. In this class we explore the rational and effective clinical use of each of the adaptogenic herbs, the differences between them and how they can be used to improve cognitive function, restore immune and endocrine balance and promote increased mental and physical well-being. Start your new year by creating balance and nourishing yourself with Herbs.
